I have HP Pavilion G6 2005AX laptop with AMD processor. It had Win 7 Home basic as preinstalled OS. And its 2 ports of USB 2.0 1 port of USB 3.0 were working fine. Recently I installed Windows Server 2008 Enterprise (64 bit) for my project purpose. But I could retrieve and download all drivers for this machine except USB 2.0 drivers. Other USB 3.0 is working fine.

I can connect mouse / cooling pad to the USB 2.0 ports and they work but I cannot connect pen drives/hard disk to it. So I am sure that its driver problem. Device Manager shows yellow mark on 2 USB Controller drivers. On official Drivers download page Win server 2008 OS is not supported. Please suggest proper link for these usb drivers. Hey AvinashBadgujar, Like you said, Windows Server 2008 is not a supported operating system for this unit; when using an unsupported operating system, many things won't work however some things might work. Windows Vista, 7, and Server 2008 are all built upon NT 6, so occasionaly the drivers are the same between those OSs - however, certain things might not work.

If you'd like to have a fully-functioning PC but at the same time need access to Windows Server 2008 for your project, probably the best thing to do would be to do a factory recovery (get Win7 back on there) and then use something like VirtualBox or VMware to run Windows Server 2008 as a virtual machine within Windows 7. That way all of your stuff will work, and you can still play around with Server 2008. Does anyone else have any errors with the VIMICRO USB PC CAMERA on Vista, it worked fine under XP SP2, however i have tried using it on vista Windows Live Messenger (Which its designed for), and it can load all the drivers etc, but always displays a black screen? Has anyone managed to get there VIMICRO USB PC CAMERA to run under vista, i am also unable to install the software again due to my OS not being Windows XP, and i have also tried running setup.exe with compatability mode (Win XP SP2), but it still tells me it could not run due to it not being windows XP. I am currently working on a Senior Design project and it involves interfacing a webcam to our laptops via USB.

We have purchased rather cheap webcams from Vimicro which are all in working condition. I verified that it works through Skype and there is a clear image coming through.

However, when I try to interface it to LabVIEW, we get no communication. The hardware doesn't show up on the Measurement Automation and all the example code that we have played around with is made for Serial input. We just need a simple program to be able to produce an image on the GUI and the rest can be figured out from there.

We also tried to obtain drivers and such from Vimicro's website but their site is rather slow and hard to navigate. There were no helpful drivers for the problem that we are experiencing. I would post some example code that we have but I honestly don't know which to post. If anyone could get me started in the right direction it would be very helpful and would help the group get our project done by the end of the semester. Thanks and please let me know if any further information is needed. I boot my laptop with ubuntu, the usb3.0 hard drive could be recognized by usb3.0 port without external power, but archlinux cannot.the write speed is 43.7 MB/s in ubuntu.

It seems like that this is only usb2.0 speed.can archlinux use usb3.0 as usb2.0? Sky Go only allows 2 devices per account as standard. If you mean you have multiroom, you can now have free access to Sky Go Extra (normally £5 per month) which allows 4 devices and downloads as well. If you do indeed have two separate accounts, you should have separate Sky ID's for each one and as such, two devices for each login. If someone has helped you, please click the Thumbs Up button.

It was being detected as a creative webcam correctly until a few weeks ago, where i noticed it is now showing as a vimicro usb 2.0 PC Camera. I have also posted this problem in Microsoft Answers, but nothing so far has worked there: ANyone have any ideas why this is not working anymore.

I have tried it on 2 different machines and get the same result. Any help would be appreciated. I am using a Creative live! Socialize webcamera VF0640. I have an Inspirion 3520 that I have used on my televisions for many months, almost a year now, to watch movies and just generally have a much larger display via HDMI. Yesterday my Samsung television and my VIZIO television stopped recognizing my laptop. The TVs dont see the HDMI connection and the laptop doesnt blink to show its connected. However, the HDMI connection does work with my LG television. Ive tried using a different HDMI cable, different HDMI port on the televisions, using the key combo to duplicate the screens, nothing Ive tried seems to work. Im not sure if I or my wife inadvertently changed a setting, but what setting would stop allowing the laptop to work on 2 of 3 televisions and still allow it to work perfectly on the 3rd TV? Thanks for any help!!!

Thanks for any help!!! No, you do not need a driver if your operating system is Microsoft Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7.

The drivers that are needed to connect most Sony® cameras to a computer are already built into the operating system on your computer. IMPORTANT: Some cameras do not support a USB connection to computers running Windows 7 or Windows Vista operating systems. If you are having problems with Picture Motion Browser (PMB) or have lost your disk, no problem. You can now download and install the full version of PlayMemories Home (this replaces PMB) at USB compatibility with Windows Starter Edition is not supported. In some rare cases, the USB connection from the camera may not be recognized by the computer. Just use the Win2003 drivers, they work fine under XP. First make sure you have either XP SP1 or XP SP1a installed, then install the Intel 875P Chipset driver from the link above (same driver for Windows 200 and later). Also, experiement with which USB port you are plugged into. It's not supposed to make a difference (doesn't affect mine) but some people have reported better results by using specific USB connectors. I just posted this question in the wrong forum (Dell FP TVs). I can't seem to find a forum for FP monitors so I'm hoping for some help here since my OS is XP Pro. Just installed new 1905FP and connected USB ccable between panel and Belkin USB 2.0 PCI card in CPU (which has been working properly).

XP requested EHCI driver CD which did not come with the panel. The only EHCI drivers I can find on the the Dell support site are for Red Hat Linux. Can anyone point me to the corredt driver download? Thanks for your help. With the latest release of UHD (3840x2160p) TVs, we get some questions about the support on HDMI2.0. And especially about the support for full color in UHD (3840x2160p) at 60Hz.

The first gfx cards supporting HDMI2.0 are the Nvidia GTX 970 and GTX 980 cards. These cards support UHD (3840x2160p) @60Hz refresh rate with full color (RGB or YCbCr-4:4:4) if your display are able to support it. Some TVs support UHD @ 60Hz but with reduced color information (e.g. YCbCr 4:2:0) (Usually 24/30Hz full color is supported) Some TVs support UHD (3840x2160p) @60Hz refresh rate with full color (RGB or YCbCr-4:4:4) but only on one HDMI2.0 port. And some manufacturers dont document the capabilities very clearly.

So what should we do to view full color UHD @60Hz over HDMI2.0 on a UHD TV? 1.)Check the TV manufacturer’s website if there is a newer firmware for your TV available. 2.)Check the TV manual which HDMI port(s) can support UHD RGB/4:4:4 @ 60Hz.

3.)Check the TV manual (Samsung and LG) to see if there is a setting called HDMI UHD (deep)Color, and set it to On. Check the TV manual (Toshiba) to see if there is a setting called HDMI Input Mode and set it to Mode1. Check the TV Manual (Panasonic) to see if there is a setting called HDMI Auto Setting and set it Mode2. 4.) Install the (Nvidia) gfx drivers and in the driver control panel setup the resolution to 3840x2180p @ 60Hz 5.) If you want to check if the color is reduced or not? Just open the (100% zoom) and if you can read 4:4:4 clearly then the colors are not reduced. P.S., Most TV manufacturers recommend using Hi-speed HDMI cables and preferably shorter than 3 meters (some say 5m).

Usb 2.0 Driver Download

P.P.S., I attached extracts from UHD TV manuals, where you can see the different UHD color information from some manufacturers. P.P.P.S., DisplayPort v1.2 also supports UHD (3840x2160p) @60Hz refresh rate with full color (RGB) but most TVs dont have DP ports (I have only seen Panasonic offering DP1.2). In some UHD TVs and Monitors you need to enable Multi-stream in the TV/Monitor settings menu to enjoy 60Hz UHD. I havent come across any UHD monitors with HDMI2.0 yet. Since HDMI2.0 gfx cards and UHD TVs are quite new, apparently some TVs might not work with PC hardware 100% yet. Some TV firmware still have some bugs, therefore its wise to contact the TV manufacturer as well.

Apparently with some Samsung TVs you also need to rename the input to PC or PC DVI to get full color support. You can read more info and user experience in these forums: Another test picture to test color reduction: http://cdn.avsforum.com/b/b4/b4a44044vbattach208609.png. Hi all, I'm trying to boot eboot.nb0 from NAND.

(Micron, MT29F4G08ABBDA) in WinCE7. Eboot is booting now. Don't know if my problem is documented else where, but I register that my usb device whitch is a dymo labelwriter goes offline in the guest operating system after a while, and then if I look in the usb device list in vmware console, it suddenly dissapear there to(sometimes). To get it working again I will have to remove it from the guest and add it again. Sometimes that does not work. Then I will have to physical take the usb plug in and out, wait, and then add it to the guest.

And if I leave it for some days, it goes offline again. I does annoy me some. I have the KDL-47W807 and when I play 3D movies from an external hard drive plugged into the USB input on the side of the TV and during the course of the movie playing change to a television channel (e.g.

By pressing 1 or 2 on the remote), all the graphical menus disappear from the TV, and it is thus impossible to navigate the TV when you cannot see what you choose with the remote control. There is still image/picture on the screen from the television show, etc., just not the menus, graphics etc. It is only by shutting down the TV completely that the menus return again. I have firmware PKG3.901EUA. What's wrong? Go to Solution.

Hi to all, my first time in a Microsoft forum. I wrote because i dont know if this codec audio works in Seven. Im a xp user from 2001 and im thinking try Seven. But, i download the upgrade advisor and say that my vimicro camera and cmedia codec audio dont have dvd support and i must download drivers from windows update, they have a green dot. I can download the vimicro usb camera drivers from vimicro homepage.

But cmedia never release a vista driver and cease the ac97 support. The xp drivers works in vista/seven? If i can have almost stereo sound i save money in the buy of a pci card compatible. I have recently installed VMWare server (1.0.1) on my Kubuntu Dapper machine and am using it to run Windows 2000. I works great but I have a strange problem with my USB PC Camera. When I connect the camera for the first time 2K correctly identifies it as a 'Vimicro Corp. PC Camera', installs the drivers and it works.

However after rebooting it doesn't recognise it anymore. Then when I restart the VMWare Console, VMWare (in the VM - Removable Devices - USB Devices menu) suddenly claims it to be a 'Z-Star Microelectronics Corp. ZC0303 WebCam', where before using it it claimed it was a 'Vimicro Corp. The only way I can get it to think of it as a vimicro camera again is to reinstall a new virtual machine (and then it only works the once, until reboot). Is there a way I can get vmware to tell windows this device is a camera it actually recognises?

Or to get windows to use the drivers that worked before, but that wouldn't really be an vmware issue, I think. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've been having continual issues with the USB ports on this Elitebook 8560w for the past few months. At this point, the two ports on the left side will not recognize anything plugged into them at all.

I've tried going into Device Manager, uninstalling the Root Hubs, rebooting, and scanning for hardware changes, but that desn't seem to fix the issue. I have two 'Unknown Devices' showing up as well, each sharing the same Hardware ID of: USB VID8087PID0024REV0000 USB VID8087PID0024 WHile I can find USB 3.0 drivers on the download site, I suspect the 2.0 drivers are part of a larger rollup. Can anyone suggest next steps for me, or should I start thinking about a full format and reinstall? Thank you in advance.

Hi, I try to connect USB Hybrid TV tuner to my notebook Satellite X200-15K, OS Microsoft Vista. According to guide instructions I installed Savvy TV software from provided CD (and also downloaded and installed last new software from Toshiba download center for MS Vista). Windows recognized new hardware (TV tuner) properly, but starting Savvy TV at Settings Source is available only 0:Video File (.mpg,.mpeg). Channels tab is not available. TV tuner is connected to analog TV cable. What I do wrong? Thank you for help.

Hopefully you didn’t muddle the OS and the whole USB TV tuner software A friend of mine has installed the USB Hybrid TV tuner on the A200 Satellite and everything went correctly I would recommend removing the old software version and to clean the registry using a “CCLeaner” freeware software. Then install the software from the Toshiba page correctly!

Here you can find the USB Hybrid TV tuner user manual: You have to choose Options - Desk based accessories - TV tuner - USB hybrid TV tuner Best regards. I have a tv tuner of the brand Enter which is compatible with vista but the cd that came along doesn't have drivers for vista 64 bit. The manufacturers website list serveral such devices in its download section and I don't know which one is mine.

Now, I let vista automatically download drivers for the tuner from the internet and it is listed as USB2.0 TV Box in the device manager. So I guess I'm read to use the device. However, as my version of vista doesn't have media center, can someone recommend me a free video capture/media center software that would work with this tuner? We have 2 HD TVs and 1 old tube TV. We've purchased a new HD TV and moved our smaller existing HD TV to replace the old tube TV. I unplugged the tube TV and hooked up the HD with the HDMI cable. Now I cannot get the satelite to connect and receive the following message: Searching for signal on Satellite In 1.

I have tried resetting the receiver, powering it off, unplugging for 20 seconds, taking out the card, etc. No change at all. I'm sure I must be doing something wrong, but I can't figure it out. Is there a setting I need to change or something I missed? The TV on the DVR (not moved) is still receiving signal, so it must be something I missed when changing the TVs.

I have Dell Dimension 4100 with the Millenium operating system. The hard drive recently crashed and I had it replaced. Since then, I've tried installing a TV card (WinTV-PVR-USB2) and was metwith errors that certain drivers could not be found, with the instruction to insert the Drivers CD that came with the computer. The problem is that I have no such CD, the only ME CD that came with the computer when I bought it says it is for re-installation of ME and does not contain the drivers. The TV card did eventually load when I clicked the choice to continue loading without the specified drivers. The card does work on the USB1 port that came with the computer, but it freezes often. The manufacturer's directions say that it works best on a USB 2 port.

However, when I tried to install a USB2 card, I again got the message to insert the Drivers CD. The USB2 prot shows up in the Device Manager, butthe TV card doesn't work when plugged into it. It still works in the USB 1 port, however. Also, I have 2 types of thumb drives that are not recognized on either USB port.

It seems like something is missing. Is there a way to get the required Drivers CD from Dell, or download the necessary files? I'd appreciate any info or help available.

I just uninstalled my webcam again reinstalled it it said windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged (Code 19) My webcam is a Vimicro USB PC Camera (ZCO301PL) SYMPTOMS The Component Object Model (COM) ports that you created during the installation of a multiple-port serial adapter do not start, and they are listed in Device Manager with the following error message: Code 19 - Your registry might be corrupted.

CAUSE This behavior can occur because many virtual COM ports that are hosted by this type of hardware rely on the standard serial port driver (Serial.sys) that is included with Windows 2000. This driver, however, can start only if there are hardware COM ports that require the driver. Back to the top RESOLUTION To Work around this behavior, enable at least one COM port in the basic input/output system (BIOS) so that the Serial.sys file can load properly. I am running XP PRO. All my issues started when I downloaded Service Pack 3 for XP PRO. My webcam was working before that.

I have downloaded drivers from manufacture Nothing works Ive gone in through device manager. Still can't get it to work. Can someone help me? It doesn't matter what webcam I put on my system, I still get the same error messages.

Thanks Angela. Windows 7 does not install the better quality or updated driver for my USB TV tuner even when I use device manager to check for updated driver. It says 'The best driver software for your device is already installed'. I downloaded software from Hauppauge and manually updated the driver using device manager and having it search the drivers folders from the download, and a newer driver was installed. I can imagine that many users of this particular usb tv tuner might not be aware that there is a better driver available for their device and the video quality can be vastly improved with an update.

But the update will not happen without manually downloading and installing the drivers as I have done. I myself had 3 tv tuners, 2 of which plugged into the motherboard and the third being the usb version.

Any recording I did that used the usb tuner had poor video quality (noticeable jaggies - a technical term:-) ), the other tuners had good quality video recordings. So I stopped using the usb tuner, but discovered the new driver many months later and started using it again. After switching to the 64 bit version of Windows, the internal tv tuners no longer worked unless I set the ram to less than 4 GB of memory. Anyway, I had been using the RC version of Windows 7 and only a few days ago have started using Windows 7, the retail version. I was surprised that the video quality was terrible, the jaggies were back, and Windows 7 was telling me I had the best drivers already installed.

I would think that Windows 7should have offered the better drivers automatically, and until it does, some users may be missing out onbetter quality tv recording.
